Learn about Combustion Engines with a working model of a V8 and Straight 6 engine the perfect size to be passed around for up close examination. Next, kids will complete an acid base reaction to observe how pressure can cause movement. Next, we explore as a group what happens when we push that pressure in a particular direction…first up with Diet Coke and Mentos and then down as we conclude with a 1000ft Rocket Launch

We harness the power of the sun and use a giant solar oven to make everyone’s favorite outdoor treat…SMORES!!!
While our s’mores are baking we will learn a little bit about photography and use some special paper to make a photograph using the sun. The kids will come onboard the science lab and develop their very own photographs. It’s always fun to see their faces as they see the image appear!

With our ice cream lab we will learn about freezing point depression and create a delicious treat at the same time! Kids will mix their ingredients and watch the ice cream form in the hands-on, “pass the hot potato” style game. The best part is the ice cream is more delicious than you could ever imagine!

Kids of all ages love bubbles…especially when they are 5 ft long! With this lesson kids will learn about sublimation and they get to hold…and pop dry ice bubbles. We will bring 5-10 gallons of supreme bubble solution as well as giant bubble wands to create the most massive bubbles ever! Next, stand inside a bubble for the ultimate photo-op!
